Connect with Brides and Honeymooners on a Personal Level~
Sandals Resorts has
recently announced plans to debut an extravagant new wedding initiative to
connect with brides and honeymooners on a personal level, further
enhancing the company’s current WeddingMoons® program. Ranging from a
revamped honeymoon brochure to luxe honeymoon service and suites, this
initiative is designed to transform the traditional destination wedding
into a lavish celebration that continues into the honeymoon and beyond. It
also forms part of the company’s newly-launched Luxury Included™ campaign.
“We are creating a
singular, luxury included experience within the Sandals Resorts vacation
that is solely for and about honeymooners,” chief romance officer for
Sandals Resorts, Joann Delgin said.
It begins with a fresh,
new way to speak to honeymooners. The revamped Sandals Resorts honeymoon
brochure is a complete departure from the traditional. Filled with
high-impact lifestyle photos set against luxurious backdrops, the brochure
concentrates on how a Sandals Resorts honeymoon makes two people in love
feel. “We are pleased to present guests with a streamlined, beautiful
brochure that we’re confident honeymooners will respond well to,” Delgin
added.
The new honeymoon
service at Sandals Resorts, available to all honeymooners regardless of
room category, provides guides with one romantic moment after another.
Highlights include: a chilled bottle of sparkling wine upon arrival,
personal welcome note from the general manager which is printed on
stationary exclusively for honeymooners, and a charming do not disturb door hanger
that reads “Shh…Honeymoon in Progress.” On their first morning,
honeymooners are greeted with breakfast in bed and treated that evening to
a drawn bubble bath and special turn down service of fresh flower petals
strewn on the bed’s plush linens. Best of all, for the duration of their
stay guests are assigned a Sandals honeymoon concierge, who is available
to arrange dining reservations, book tours and offer general destination
and resort information.
Finally, no honeymoon
would be complete without a romantic stay in one of Sandals Resorts’ new,
well-appointed, top-category suites. “Rightfully so, honeymooners tend to
spend quite a bit of time in their rooms so the setting needs to be
dramatic, luxurious and very private,” Delgin said. “With large plasma

recreating the honeymoon experience for anniversary couples with the
introduction of the Everlasting
Honeymoon. The program, developed for newlyweds who celebrate
their honeymoon at Sandals Resorts, rewards couples one free night – their
anniversary night – at any resort location in Jamaica, St. Lucia, Antigua,
or The Bahamas for the rest of their lives together.
“This new program makes
it possible for couples to recreate the magic of their honeymoon year
after year. We take pride in treating honeymooners like the very special
guests they are,” Joann Delgin, chief romance officer for Sandals Resorts
said. “Whether couples have been together for one year or ten, the Everlasting Honeymoon program

British flair, Sandals Royal Caribbean in Montego Bay, Jamaica unveiled a
new Cricketers’ Pub on September 17, featuring a 60-seat restaurant and
bar serving authentic pub meals and beverages. Designed to pay homage to
the Gentleman’s Game, or
cricket, and provide familiar surroundings to the growing number of
British guests, the pub also features six large TV screens showcasing the
greatest moments in both test and one-day cricket.
“We have been welcoming
a high percentage of European guests, particularly British guests and
this is our way of ensuring that they not only enjoy a fabulous vacation,
but that they also relive the ‘good old days’ of cricket and not miss one
live match,” said Jeremy Mutton, general manager of Sandals Royal
Caribbean. “We’re also providing all guests with another opportunity to
experience authentic foods and cultures from a different part of the

Caribbean to Debut Stunning River Suites By Summer 2007
Montego Bay, Jamaica (February 1, 2007) – Offering the pinnacle of
luxury in Jamaica, soothing new River Suites are set to be unveiled at
Sandals Negril Beach Resort & Spa and Sandals Royal Caribbean Resort &
Private Island by summer 2007. These new suites, offering the ultimate
in amenities and luxury, will be set upon a relaxing lazy river and
pool. At Sandals Negril, 25 opulent River Suites, available in two
categories including the “Ocean’s Edge One Bedroom River Suite with
Private River Entrance” and “ Penthouse Ocean’s Edge One Bedroom River
Suite”, will become the resort’s “Sundowner Block.” Ten stunning “St.
James River Suites” will soon debut in the appropriately named “St.
James Block” at Sandals Royal Caribbean, a resort known for embracing
Jamaica’s
British Colonial heritage.
The ground floor of the
River Suites at both resorts will feature a secluded patio surrounded by
lush Caribbean vegetation that opens onto the resort’s lazy river where
lovers can dip their toes into the soothing waterway. At Sandals Negril,
all suites will have stunning ocean views, and the 12 ground floor
Ocean’s Edge One Bedroom River suites will have zero-entry access to the
lazy river. Indoors, the suites will feature the ultimate in luxury,
highlighted by an expansive living room complete with a 42” plasma
television, and a separate bedroom area, with a 37” plasma television.
The patio will feature an outdoor dining area, as well as a love seat
for the ultimate in relaxation under the warm Caribbean sun.
At Sandals Royal
Caribbean, the four ground floor St. James River Suites will have
expanded patio areas with lush vegetation, with access to the lazy river
just steps away. The suites located on the second-floor of both resorts
will offer guests the opportunity to enjoy the relaxing sounds of the
trickling water from their private decks as well as the spectacular
views of the lazy river below. Each extravagant suite is outfitted with custom furnishings and
tropically inspired décor, with a spacious bedroom with a four-poster
mahogany bed, a marvelous bathroom with marble and hand-cut mosaic tile
accents, plus a Jacuzzi tub and his and her vanities. Additionally, the
suites will come complete with a Butler Pantry, so that the personal

Million Expansion at Sandals Antigua
Construction of the new $65 million Mediterranean Village is
underway at the Sandals Antigua Caribbean Village & Spa and is
scheduled for completion in November 2006.
“I am delighted to begin the Mediterranean Village at Sandals
Antigua, reaffirming Sandals Resorts commitment to bring the upscale
market to Antigua,” said Gordon “Butch” Stewart, chairman of Sandals
and Beaches Resorts. “The price tag of over $400,000 per room shows

The new Mediterranean Village at Sandals Antigua will feature
